My name is Sophie Davies and I am a British woman who brings female business owners together in the Bay Area over a cuppa to cultivate connection and learning through community gatherings….
I combine my strategic approach to brand consulting with my cultural practice of working something out over a cuppa through Cuppa Culture.
I am a business consultant specializing in brand strategy, and value-aligned business decision-making. I currently consult with female-focused businesses one on one through Cuppa Coaching and facilitate a Marin female founders group and community gatherings in Marin County.
I have a background in PR, branding, marketing, events, sales, and business development in the U.K. and the U.S. over the past 25 years. I have worked with an international portfolio of fashion and lifestyle brands in the U.K and U.S. including Lacoste, Calvin Klein, Benetton, Esprit, Birkenstock, The Exploratorium, Ideas with Impact, and Kennedy Events.
I was previously a senior PR director at Modus PCM in London for 10 years, the co-founder of Prim’d Marketing for 4.5 years (brand strategy, logo, and brand identity, website, and marketing plans), and the events director at the co-working space The Hivery.
I enjoy combining my expertise with my cultural practice of working things through over a cup of tea. My passion is to help and nurture female business owners so that they feel more supported and connected to themselves and other business owners in a more meaningful way.
I believe there is an underestimated power in a good conversation, especially a chinwag over a comforting cuppa. It enables you to feel seen, heard and validated, which improves your mental wellbeing, and helps you feel less alone. I also believe that you learn more about yourself and other people’s perspectives through storytelling.
